Dale P. Bennett

Executive Vice President, Rotary and Mission Systems

Dale P. Bennett is executive vice president of Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) for Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Mr. Bennett is responsible for the execution of programs for the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy, as well as for civil, commercial and international military customers. RMS employs more than 35,000 people across the globe, including approximately 10 percent in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, United Kingdom and other countries. RMS’ portfolio features more than 1,000 programs, such as Sikorsky helicopters, Aegis Combat System, Littoral Combat Ship, anti-submarine warfare, cyber solutions and military training systems including for the F-35 Lightning II.

Additionally, Mr. Bennett is actively involved in the corporation’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, serving as the executive sponsor for the company’s annual Military/Veterans Leadership Forum. He is also the executive champion for the company’s relationship with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including its STEM development program for under-represented students.

Mr. Bennett's career spans more than 40 years of service with industry and the military. His diverse background includes experience in engineering, business development, strategic planning, independent research and development, program management and general management.

Mr. Bennett joined Lockheed Martin in 1981 as a systems engineer and worked assignments of increasing responsibility, including president of Lockheed Martin’s Mission Systems and Sensors, president of Global Training and Logistics and president of Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support.

Mr. Bennett served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, a master’s degree in engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Sloan Fellows Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
